Telecom Vet Gary Audin Interviews Jeff Traylor at ITEXPO

For our Throwback Thursday post, we decided to look back during Jeff Traylor's time at Miami's ITEXPO. During that time, he sat down with Gary Audin for an interview on the state of telecom and his inspiration for Traylor's company, TelecoIO.

Not too long ago, the CEO of TelecoIO, Jeff Traylor sat down and talked with telecom industry vet, Gary Audin, about why TelecoIO’s API is big news in the industry. The interview happened during Miami’s 2015 ITEXPO. Like many entrepreneurs, Traylor discovered that there was a need in the industry for a simplified and affordable means of managing multiple numbers regardless of the upstream provider from one platform and API.

His revelation appeared upon learning that it was cost prohibitive to integrate systems with all upstream providers one by one. Instead, he knew there was a better way for companies to consolidate their needs regardless of their upstream provider. Traditionally, companies had to integrate with their providers individually.

Instead, customers using TelecoIO’s system can consolidate all of their needs into one platform. This occurs because of their revolutionary API which unifies multiple carriers into one. Traylor even implemented a system which was able to help providers without their own backend systems. The company’s unique API creates a portal for customers who do not have their own backend. In turn, it allows these companies to still take advantage of the API’s functionality.

He also configured the API for the growing mobile market. The mobile market is rapidly growing and is projected to grow more throughout the coming years. Teleco.IO is in position to continue adding mobile carriers to the platform to include all US mobile providers. Additionally, the API is mobile ready for tablets and cell phones. This is a plus for many of the managers and engineers who are not always at their desk but need to get things done.

TelecoIO’s services extend to call forwarding, mass LNP porting controls, voicemail setup and routing to different endpoints regardless of the upstream provider, just to name a few of the features. Clients can even customize their preferences to preferred providers. The platform allows clients to add providers as needed and not be locked in to a single provider which may not be working for their organization.

Additionally, large enterprises can merge and manage their assets seamlessly from one location as they never could before without costly custom development and support packages. These features coupled with reporting, analytics, executive functions and a simple, customer-friendly interface is allowing TelecoIO to revolutionize the telecom market.

Why did we create Teleco.IO?

Why did we create Teleco.IO?

...now juggling the API functions of 3 or 4 providers, we noticed that if things kept adding on it was going to become quite cumbersome.  We kept looking for one managed API that would facilitate connection to all of our providers and maybe even new providers without all the associated costs, risks, and ongoing management hassle.  Soon it became clear from speaking with other providers that this was something many businesses could benefit from, yet did not exist.  This inspired us to create a solution once and for all; not just for us, but for all existing providers and enterprise companies encountering the same problem as well as new entrepreneurs wanting to get into the Telecom and VoIP industry.

Happy Clients, Happy Teleco.IO!

Happy Clients, Happy Teleco.IO!

“Is there a way to avoid the high unpredictable integration costs per provider to connect into our systems?” ...We found that the cost for our clients was averaging up to $20,000 or more per provider.  Funds that could be spent elsewhere were being eaten up by the integration monster!
